TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Terry gives us his inner Donald Trump today:Adam Rubin quoting Terry Collins wrote:"My relationship with David Wright is the best I've ever had with any player. There was, believe me, no problem."http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/mets/post/_/id/118729/terry-collins-there-was-no-tiff-with-david-wright
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Wow! What size are Terry's hands?Meanwhilst, Bartolo goes scoreless through the tricky first two innings.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Four walks?Maybe that child support case IS getting to him.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 You simply can't be walking Werth w/2 outs, no one on, and Harper on deck.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 You simply can't be laying a 3-1 change-up in there for Cspedes.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Hey, when did we re-sign Mike Pelfrey?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Note that Colon opens the next WSH series on Monday and deGrom doesn't face them in either series.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Another call that not only shouldn't have been overturned but one that no one would have pointed to as needing a replay system to even review.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Nice play Walker. Muffy would have kicked that into the crowd.I see Campbell made a very nice play @first earlier.Nice inning Robles.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 There was an overturned play in the 5th? Plawecki throws out another runner? Niiiiiiiice.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Winner finishes the night in first. Loser in third.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Ugh. Wrights comment about his back yesterday was sad to hear. Does he mean mediocre at best? I expect if he can last even a few more seasons he's going to follow Zimmermans footsteps and slide over to first base. I think I'd rather see that then him playing anywhere else (would someone take him with this back problem?). The worst scenario is a sudden retirement, and that's the last thing I want to see. What do we do with Duda? I dunno, I just don't want David Wright's story to be over.Whoa, Bastardo almost took Revere's head off.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I knew Lags had it all along.4-1 Poopington
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Too many cookie cutter damn pitching changes in the game today. Put me to bed.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Bases loaded walk by Verrett. Tsk, tsk. We don't want this one do we?5-1 Some district or other.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Colon walked a lot too, huh? Wow! 5 in less than 5? Yikeroonies.
