I don't think I've ever shot a spitball.

Anyway, all your gripes are with phpBB version problems and not
this place per se. I hope, we all hope, that this is a major upgrade;
particularly in terms of security and not shutting out some long-time
users from using the forum.

I look forward to the move. My antivirus software hates this site. My laptop in particular goes crazy when I log onto the CPF. This past weekend, my laptop kept giving me multiple warnings that the site was corrupted, I was starting to think that I had somehow logged onto a Yankee site by accident.

Will we need to recreate our own accounts? Or will those (and our sometimes stellar post counts, custom player status, etc etc etc) all be moving?

Will current/recent posts all be transported also?

Your accounts, password, and ranks will transfer to the new place, as will all recent posts. And so will the various piddling issues that batmagadanleadoff likes to whimper about. The only thing you might notice is that our individual post counts will revert back to what they were a couple of weeks ago.
