Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 The TV is ahead of the radio by like 15 seconds. Now that's weird. I am getting the radio feed thru the PC tho. I'm sure a real radio would not be suffering such a time lapse. 4-4 Mets. Ugh. great pitch to Conforto. Grandy on 2nd, 2 out. Cespedes at the plate.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 David Hernandez warming up for the 12th if Robles can get another two outs here. Which is good if you're a Mets fan because Hernandez has been a real crumbum this year.

Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Damnit. Nice effort by Wright to almost save it. But, damnit.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I hate to say it, but d'Arnaud looks like a boy amongst men. Don't get me wrong. I like him. I want him to excel. But pitches that close can't be allowed to get away. This might be the fourth time this season I've seen him let one go by like that. That won't cut it.blahblah, I was sad.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I was on delay since I paused a bunch of times. Really was lookingforward to seeing the nice old gentleman with the brooms.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I didn't see that WP/PB (however they scored it) as d'Arnaud's fault. He was lucky just to get the glove up there without it going straight back to the screen.Strange how that run taken off the board in the 1st inning wound up being the difference (two runs actually but one came in later anyway).Kind of a weird call. I'm reasonably sure that they got it right but, unlike Ron, I don't know that that kid's glove ever touched the ball as it was coming down. But then, even if it didn't, the ball bounced straight up and then was gloved by the other guy and it looked like he was reaching over the rail. Mostly it's just a shitty design but the easy solution seems to be to move the wall in a foot or three and that's the last thing that stadium needs.

I'm gonna go re-watch it (kool, they freed up SNY early). I still will stand by my assessment of d'Arnaud, overall, so far this season.I wanted to agree with you but after re-watching, I dunno. Ronnie agrees with you and it was scored a wild pitch.Travis called for an inside pitch so he was a bit surprised and offset, and the ball was continually tailing away from him, but I think he should have caught or stopped that. He did get a glove on it. [fimg=300]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e-toBqu20Rk/VxhbsxvJPHI/AAAAAAAAmpk/r_nA-NFWsKIkxMZX5wY6jtbFJMQse1_KACCo/s800-Ic42/vsphils.png[/fimg]
