Not hitting Velasquez, as disappointing as that was, wasn't the worst part of the game. He looked really good.
But he was also gone after the 6th and going hitless vs the Philly pen (1 walk), with no hits at all after the 5th inning, was truly soul crushing.

12 K's plus lots of pop/fly-outs = Not Good. And it's not like the hits were all that impressive either.
