Just starting here, I have the data and can make lots of Q's but have time to get started with one question:

As discussed in the Tejada thread the Mets last traded with the Cardinals in April of 04. Only one MLB club has gone longer between trades with the Mets* than STL. Which club is it and who were the principals in their last trade?

*- defining trades for this purpose as a player who was active on, or would be active on, the Mets going one way or the other, in exchange for another player -- including Minor Leaguers but not including waiver deals, deals for cash, etc.

No looking up. One guess per player at a time, will have more quiz questions with this data later so please don;t look up.

Geez, it's just a guessing game, and it gets easier as we go! Considering the Cards, MFYs, and Rangers are off the board, you've got a 1 in 25 change of winning!

his pin-striped ways at some point but I couldn't begin to guess for what.

We have not made a trade with Philly for a Met, or have received a Met by trade, from Philly since July 27, 2001: Chen for Cook & Wendell.

You think of Mike Nickeas, he only known Met whose father played in the NASL.

Last trade with Detroit: Luis Cessa and Michael Fulmer for Yoenis Cespedes. That's our July 31, 2015 dealio.

Last trade with Atlanta, with the Young deal off the board, is Smelly Johnson and Juan U-RBI for John Gant and Rob Whalin'.

That, I guess, is the 8/24 deal.
