Very, very kool and one constant: not an empty seat in the stands behind the action. Mountains of people.

Great, great stuff. I think if I had a time machine, the first thing I'd do is go see a baseball game.

Some thoughts:

1. Lots of headfirst sliding. Would not have thought this to be that common.

2. The mound looks pretty flat.

3. Really like the dancing third base coach. Just odd and funny.

4. I like the shot of the A's $100k infield. That's roughly about what the A's are spending now.

5. Deadball Era Footage: Where were the first half 2015 Mets? (rimshot)

6. Really cool to see the crowd, all decked out, smoking, cheering their hearts out. Must have been pretty cool during this time, where basketball hadn't been invented yet, and there was no such thing as "ESPN Countdown to the Morning of the NFL PreGame Show the Night Before".

You don't see many (if any) pitchers winding up like that anymore.
Good stuff.

That's great stuff. I wish somebody would do some speed correction on some of the clips.

I want one of those warmup sweaters, like the ones the Giants and Honus Wagner are wearing.

The Giants had a lot of damn nerve calling themselves the 1904 World Champions, even wearing shirts that say so.

I believe that's Hughie Jennings at 1:00, coaching third for the Tigers and enjoying the hell out of it.

Interesting to see Daniel Murphy when he was still batting righthanded.

I'd ban Buck Weaver just for being so ugly.

Kid Gleason looks like he's having fun. His team really screwed him over.

That was my first guess too. The recent Cobb book, which was part of a discussion here in a couple of threads recently, talks about manager Jennings (mgrs often coached 3rd in those days) and his penchant for odd dance moves and various vocal calls while out there designed to either fire up his team or unnerve the other side. Or maybe it was just in response to the voices in his head, the jury seemed to be still out on that one.
