Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 We haven't taken the official temperature on deals this offseason. We ought.[fimg=500:ea0puu0q]http://metsmerizedonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/jerry-blevins.jpg[/fimg:ea0puu0q]
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Like. The team could have used him last year and I'm hoping he stays injury free in 2016.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Indifferent, another payday with nothing to go on.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Yeah, indifferent. Seems pricey to me for a guy who couldn't get/stay on the mound.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I like this deal too. Not nearly as much as the Walker deal, but still a net gain, I think.Seems like a bit much to pay, but I guess that's the market.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Indifferent. I know it's the market, but I'm not sure a guy coming off multiple broken arms will be worth it.

It's not like it's a chronic condition, or that it's likely to recur.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Except, y'know, it already recurred.Weird market. He broke his arm twice, having come off an off year, and got a RAISE.I think I'd rather have him than Bastardo at HIS likely price.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Like is in a rather curious landslide. Is someone stuffing the ballot box?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 love it. There is literally no downside and Blevins is as decent a LOOGY candidate as any. I might have issues ultimately Collins use of him, but having another body for bullpen depth is always nice, for what's basically cheap.
