Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Outfielder who has had his rights posted by the Lotte Giants of KBO. High average, high OBP, relatively low in the power department. Will be 28 next season, which is younger than virtually all MLB free agents. KBO works with the old posting system, which means all bids are blind. Additionally, the team can withdraw him if they don't like the high bid.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Just posting this because the Mets are going to need an outfielder and Centerfield has expressed underwhelming feelings about the free agent and internal options, apart from Cespedes. Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Al Leiter is a big proponent of cash in his pocket. If that came to pass, apart from the ugliness, we could probably expect a work stoppage or four as the players and owners fought over this new pot.

Mex17 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Shinjo and Kaz Matsui memories make me skeptical.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Ah, double posting on poor Ah-seop.I don't know what this guy has, but staying out of the Korean market because you're disappointed with two Japanese recruits doesn't strike me as very scientific.
