Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 This may be the most dominant pitching performance I've ever seen.Only Grandy's liner even smelled like a hit and I don't think he ever went to a 3 ball count.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Well, they've save their bullets for the post-season, I see.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 It's a no hitter! Big whoop. That'll make for some great chatter on the golf course this winter.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Amazing. At least he didn't break Seaver's record.
dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Well, that was embarrassing..
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 This does not bode well. I mean the six losses, not necessarily the no-hitter. The explosive offense is flat!
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Wonder what Michael will say about this one.Later
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Almost time to start packing for LA. Dodgers only need one win in the next two and Mr. Greinke is already up 1-0 in the 2nd inning.
dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Um, will this be the first division winner to be no-hit twice in the same season? Not even the first div winner this year to do itDodgers were no-hit twice in a 9 day span about a month ago. oe: Aug 25 - Mike Fiers, Houston -- Aug 30, Jake Arietta, CubsThanks - totally forgot about that...
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 It is what it is. Everything starts from scratch on Friday.
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Who needs home field advantage? It would prevent the Mets from winning the series at home when they sweep.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Couldn't care less about the no-no ... was more concerned about Seaver's 10 straight K's record. Thank you, Curtis.

Thank you, Curtis. As far as maintaining Met distinctions, I'll take preserving this one over the never a no-hitter thrown by.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 The Mets of the last 10 will not touch Kershaw or Grienke.
