TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm enjoying Smoltz and Costas.MLB Network has this SHIFT TRAX corner graphic that shows where the defense is during the pitch. I've never seen it before It's better than the crappy FOX strike tracker.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 That's gotta feel good for Lucas. Overdue bomb!Anyway, my viewing us usually confined to my MLB ap, so this is great.Nice play by Wilmer! And, I gotta say it, I love seeing Mr. Met on the jerseys.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Matz could use a couple of quick innings.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 That was a huge hit coming so early in the game because Tanaka looked like he was headed for six outs on about 15 pitches prior to that - as opposed to Matz who needed nearly 50.Now if we can just avoid giving up shitty hits to the Yanx we may be OK here.

Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Smoltz hyping Terry for manager of the year.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Matz giving up too many foul balls and not getting swings and misses. That stuff catches up to you as they gradually get the range on pitches.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm telling you right now:Duda is going to hit another tonight.

Some filthy curves, though!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 ??? ????? ??? ???? ????? ??? ????? ???? ??????? ?????.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Clippard unavailable tonight with a stiff back.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 There you go! Finding a groove. And some nice calls on low pitches!
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Yo needs his canary yellow arm sleeve!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 His coach was right about Matz getting the side in order. Hopefully he's right that his next at-bat is going to be a big one.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Nice rip by Lucas!
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Does it seem like Travis is swinging at a lot of first pitches lately?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 That counts as half a homer I really wanted Wright to keep going tho I know he woulda been a dead duck if they made the throws.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Yes, I was thinking the same thing. (About Travis) And I think maybe Teufel should have sent David home.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Awesome how that barehand roller ended up right in Wright's throwing grip.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I was gonna post that the coach was a YLDB and then didn't. Ooops, did it anyway.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 SLOfeets!I hope that doesn't bite us. LETS GO MATZ!
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Matz did well tonight...too many pitches, though.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 OK, Mets. Let's go out there and get a lead. Not to ask for too much, but, maybe a big lead.
