Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Pre-trade deadline offense in evidence so far.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Well, they're getting the base runners, just not pushing them around.Colon gets the Mets out of a jam of their own.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Good inning, Bartolo. Now let's make that Happy guy throw more than six pitches.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Well, a modestly deep fly is... something.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I like the 3-6.But slide into the bag, Polanco.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I think that Lags should have scored on Grandy's double earlier. If he didn't stop to watch the line drive I feel he could have. And that weird mis-play by the catcher when he spiked the ball. I can't fault Lags for head first sliding back to third though, so I don't consider that a missed opportunity. But one thing this team cannot afford to do is miss opportunities.2 walks for Colon. Strange to see only 2 walks for a pitcher and consider that a possible red flag. But Bart has had such magnificent control this year.Break out the bats guys! I don't want to be breaking out my shit list
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 That's how you write that one up. Swing hard, in case you hit it.Mets were Cespedesperate for that kind of slugging.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Wow, they're pulling Happ already. Good!
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Murphy follows up with a don't forget about me double andthe Bucs Happ seen enough of Happ.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 He was 3-8 since his return coming into this evening.I'm not sure I can conclude whether he has or hasn't found a groove, but I'm glad he's hustling.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Bartolo a gem through seven... let's get some runs!!!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Pinch-hit for Recker to lead off the inning?
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I was ragging on Cuddy's O for tonight's game thus far.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I was ragging about his lack of powah.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Big Clippy inning. Through that change away thrice and the MVP finally chased it.
