Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 If Gelbs started singing along with Lazy Mary he could have scored big points with me.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I believe the majority of Arrieta's Ks today have been on 3 pitches.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 Well, my run of IGT success was a cold cup of coffee.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Eric Campbell is useless. I can't remember seeing a guy less aggressive at the plate...it's like he goes up there hoping for a walk.I don't need a corner outfield slugger or shortstop masher. Just get a utility guy that isn't an automatic out and I'd be more happy.Oh, and four man benches on a team that can't score runs? It was like they were asking to be swept.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 At least as an infielder, Eric Campbell is an infielder. To put a guy hitting like him in left is... very white-flaggy.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Just got home from work. This is totally humiliating.According to Rubin (quoted on WFAN), the last time the Cubs swept a season series of at least seven games from an opponent was in 1885 against the Buffalo Bisons.Let me repeat that.the last time the Cubs swept a season series of at least seven games from an opponent was in 1885 against the Buffalo fucking Bisons. I'd say get the pitchforks and torches ready. But that would be too quick. Those bastards deserve to suffer as much as we have.End of rant.Later

He got the second game on Sunday off as well as Monday.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I watched the replay. They sucked just as much from 7:30-10:30 PM.
