I hid from Facebook, televisions with score tickers, and every other damn thing today so that I could watch the replay and pretend it was real time. So that worked out nice for me.

My favorite moment was Duda's second home run. Before the ball has even left the yard, Gary's into his excited home run call voice, and Ronnie in the background says 'ohh', a gut reaction from the pitcher in him who knows what it's like to have a pitch you've just thrown get absolutely crushed.

My favorite moment was when a guy in the office came back from a break and told me the Mets had won 7-0, with Duda hitting 2 home runs. I had forgotten it was a day game.
I like those kinds of surprises.
