Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 First of all: 24 ENTRIES!! Nice participation folks. The answers to TWO of the questions were unanimous: (Q #22) that d’Arnaud would get more PAs than Plawecki (not so surprising) and (Q #9) that Niese would remain on the team all year - maybe more surprising there, a tribute to his lefthandedness perhaps.Summary:Grandy leads in HRs: YES = 3 (Sharpie, BMFC1, and … ME put our faith in the Grandy Man - or lack of faith in others depending on how you want to look at it)Mejia leads in saves: YES = 18 of the 24 votesOn roster all year?3) Gee: YES = 164) Colon: YES = 85) d’Arnaud: YES = 22 (Ceetar & Zvon going against the grain on this one)6) Recker: YES = 87) Murphy: YES = 12 (hmmm, exactly 50/50)8) Tejada: YES = 89) Niese: YES = 2410) Collins: YES = 23 (Han Solo is the lone man who sez no)OVER/UNDER11) Duda 29.5 HRs: OVER = 1112) Cuddyer 119.5 Games: OVER = 1613) Mejia 19.5 Saves: OVER = 1514) Flores 449.5 PAs: OVER = 1815) Colon 17.5 Starts: OVER = 1416) Wright 21.5 HRs: OVER = 1917) Nieuwenhuis 199.5 PAs: OVER = 918) Syndergaard 19.5 Starts: OVER = 2 (Ceetar & MFS ’62)19) Matz 9.5 Starts: OVER = 420) Nimmo 49.5 PAs: OVER = 6EITHER/OR21) More PAs - Murphy or Herrera: 22/2 in favor of MURPHY (Kong & JCL are the dissenters)22) More PAs - Nieuwenhuis or Mayberry: 15/9 MAYBERRY23) More PAs - d’Arnaud or Plawecki: 24/0 d’ARNAUD24) More Saves - Parnell or Familia: 15/8 FAMILIA25 More IPs - Gilmartin or Leathersich: 18/6 GILMARTINMaybe I'll look to do quarterly updates on how our answers are looking.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2015 Author Posted August 20, 2015 Whooops, quick update.Looking back at my original questions, the one for Cuddyer was OVER/UNDER for 119.5 Starts for the season not merely games played in (I'm not sure I meant it that way but that's the way I stated it so that's the way we need to go on it).So with 79 starts to date it leaves him needing to start in 41 of the remaining 42 games in order to score for the 'OVER' votes to win. So while 'OVER' isn't officially out yet, 'UNDER' has him in a headlock and is ready to apply the sleeper hold.If we were to include his 10 PH/sub games then he's appeared in 89 which would put him on a pace for 120.15 game appearances which would likely bring this question right down to the wire, but that's not the question you folks were betting on (assuming that you even read the questions in the first place and didn't just go: A C B D C B A A B ... etc like you used to on the multiple choice quizzes you forgot to study for).
