Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Did I mention Kate Upton comes to the games?

Feel like they've been "almost" there a couple of times. the only negative is them not slapping the Cardinals around in '06.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 KC's alright, but I don't really trust a team without a secondary color.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 With Oakland out of it, I'll pull for the Tigers. My boss, who has been very good to me, is a lifelong Tiger fan, and I have nothing else to go with at this point.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 You know, after last night, it's hard not to root for the Royals.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Tigers are guilty of making me annoyed at them for being a team so easy to beat that the Mets could easily have been 2006 World Champions. A pox on them and their 90% downtown residential occupancy rate.

Tigers in 1984, Royals in 1985.That was the epic I-70 series against the Cardinals. I was going to Mizzou at the time, and Columbia is right smack in the middle of the state. it was pretty intense.
