Eight Mets managers have had MLB seasons in which they hit HRs in double digits. Name them.

Further questions include: name the three who had seasons of at least 40 HRs, and name the two who hit at least 30. (One hit 20, and two others hit at least 10.) Finally whats the record for most HRs in a season by a future Mets manager?

Wes Westrum didn't have a whole lot of power in general, but he had enough to sock it out of the Polo Grounds with regularity. He has to be one of 'em. Certainly had the most homers in history among players with the middle name of Noreen.

Willie was as powerful with the bat as he was with his mind. Never hit double-digits, either HR or IQ. Every other guess is correct, and not too surprisingly, the only remaining right answers are the two who hit only 10 or more. Keep guessing.

And Art Howe is, technically, one of the correct answers--he achieved his lifetime high in HRs with 10, once.

The other remaining correct answer (and Bobby V. never had much power, alas) is another light-hitting infielder-type, who may be surprising in having hit 10 HRs ever, which he did, and also hitting 12 another season. Skinny little guy, great fielder, not so much on the offensive reputation, but as another light-hitting Mets manager once (or a million times) said, "Ya can look it up!"
