Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 This is a nightmare ... shoulda went to sleep and had some sweeter dreams.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Should be taking a strike, Wrighty. He's still K-Rod.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 They all go down hacking. Like suckers.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 This is getting bad. What's the next thing to happen?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I was thinking they have to try something with regard to Young, but it's not like he's the worst thing they've got going. The arms are ready before the bats are. We knew that was how things were unfolding, but didn't quite know it would be this stark. It's scarcely noticeable, because the distinctions between starters and reserves are so blurred, but their three "starting" outfielders --- that is, those who've gotten the plurality of the team's outfield starts --- were all down with injuries last night.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Laggy really bit the big one with the bases loaded there, taking a fastball over the heart of the plate for strike one, and then tapping out to the drawn-in infield on the slider away.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 A leadership change may well be a-brew, but Wallace isn't the only candidate. No doubt many desire a team that reflects Wally's reputation fire. If fire gets Flores to rip that first fastball into the gap, instead of tapping out to first on the slider away, I'm all for it.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I don't think they go management-whacking 2 times in a row, unless it comes out that David Wright is tuning him out or Terry beats his wife or something.I think a player personnel move has to happen, and maybe something significant. Maybe they move Muffy, along with deGrom.
