Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Ok, well, that worked out fine anyway.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 (edited) Now we need contact, I'd PH Flores rather than Ike.... and, yes Gary & Ron, I'd run for Recker too. Edited April 5, 2014 by Guest

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 This, coupled with yesterdays win, definitely balances out the feeling of dread I had after the first three games.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I was there. Awesomeness.....

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Napped through innings 1-6 and woke up for the good stuff. Fboy and I jumped up out of our seats.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 What a game , can I just say that Ron and Gary were just brilliant in the booth again, they were all over the Gee falling apart after 90 pitches early in the game. Credit to Ike for sounding genuinely humble and happy for his mate in the post-game stuff,
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 The booth seems somewhat full of itself this season...

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Darling's mic needs some work. All of his plosives were distorting today. I would think someone from SNY would be right on that.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 btw, Lagares's leadoff walk in the 9th jumped the 'Expected Win Pct' from 17% to 30%the bunt/reversed call that followed then jumped it to 49%I'd have to find another game where a team was in a one-out/down-by-one/runner-on-1st situation to see exactly where the win pct would be had the call NOT been reversed, but suffice to say it would have been below 30% with the same runner position plus one extra out and considerably below the 49% that it wound up being.IOW (not like you need precise numbers to tell you this) but that replay reversal call was HUGE
