Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Mets welcome the Cincinnati Reds in with Mike Leake pitching against Jenrry Mejia
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Reds were the start of Willie's 0-5 launch in 2005. Here's to them redeeming themselves by sparing us as deep an opening hole in 2014.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Reds had a noon start today at home against the Cards ... but were delayed by weather for some four hours and are still in the early innings as I type, so I'm figuring they'll be all tired and cranky by the time they finish up there and get to New York while the Mets will all be snug and warm in their beds (or in a bar if you're Ike Davis).

HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 This team seems to routinely beat the hell out of the Mets at Citi Field (9-2 last three seasons). Let's hope that changes starting tonight.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Supposed to go tonight. I have four tickets and only one me, however. And it's really fricking cold out there. But I want my Captain Wright shirt. Enough to drive all the away in there? Maybe.

Maybe. Now if you'd told me a couple of hours ago...You gonna walk in and out 4 times to get 4 shirts?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Instead of watching the game tonight, I'll be watching Scarlet Johansson. Oh, and Captain America too.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I'll be going to the high school production of Little Shop of Horrors. Oh, wait, maybe that's the same thing.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 I'm planning to swear at people at RetroFitness for not having the game on, and being unable to figure out if they can change the channels, and then leave at 7:10.
