The menu features a blend of light fare, steaks and sandwiches showcasing three LaFrieda family recipes � the Pat LaFrieda�s Original Filet Mignon Steak Sandwich, Pat�s grandfather�s custom blend sweet Italian sausage and peppers, and new for 2014, a pork milanese recipe that has been passed down for generations. There is also an exclusive LaFrieda custom burger blend, the �Citi Field Amazin� Burger,� a hand-pressed 10 ounce black angus blend of boneless short rib and beef belly topped with crispy onion rings, red wine gastrique compressed tomato, garlic-dill pickles and American cheese served on a brioche bun. A shortened version of the Chop House menu is available at the bar adjacent to the restaurant. But the steak sandwich is a bit pricey... and that's for steak. I would eat peanut-butter-and-salami sandwiches I brought in in my underwear's condom pocket before I'd pay $12 for a meatball sub.

I heard that the meat company that makes the Brooklyn Burger decided that Citi Field and other local arenas, including Barclay's Center were charging them too much for product placement and advertising, and so decided to market the Brooklyn Burger on their own without any local stadium tie ins.
