There seems to be some messages on the Ottoneu board from some non-CPFers who are looking to move the draft date from the 19th to the 20th.

I'm OK with this, but don't know how it effects other folks.

Right. Looks like others are now saying the 20th is a no-go on the Ottoneu board.

Did we ever hear what ABNS was planning to do?

why can't I see history of a team? bleh, I should but @ottoneu about that to see team name history and owner history. would help.


Mohawk can't do the 20th. I don't really want to move it if this is a stranger (aside: did ABNS find someone to draft for him or should we put out the word and get someone to do that?)

I see no objection in this thread to the 18th, so perhaps we could go a day earlier if we need to.

he didn't pay. apparently ottoneu dropped him, and freed up a team for someone to gobble up. the puppet is a random interloper. not sure if we want to or need to or really can do anything about this...

Does he want to play? Can he do the 19th? I can boot the interloper (take guts, to claim a random team and then bitch about the draft time doesn't it?)



edit: Worth noting that Seawolf hasn't paid either and his team expired a month ago.

No one said anything here, but perhaps no one's paying attention either.

Would rather someone at least one of us knows (And can make the draft so it's at least competitive) rather than random interloper.

I have no idea. I suspect he'll have to claim another abandoned team. I'll email Jim directly, since this game of telephone is ripe for errors in changes of ownership.

so, my new strategy will be to abandon my team, have someone come in and cut all my players, reclaim my team, and have all my old players reinstated at 50 cents on the dollar.

note, for instance, alex gordon had been salaried at $32. he was cut by cherington's puppet, reducing his salary to $16, and was reinstated at $16. his salary should be reinstated at $32, as well as for all the other players cut by cherington.

this may be something you're already aware of and working on.

Sorry, my mistake. just went by the cut list when I reinstated them and forgot about the cut penalty. Fixed now, think I got everyone. Those players kinda suck though. and I like saying Plouffe.

I removed him right away. I was just making myself giggle. Maybe I should pass him around.


So to reiterate: Draft on Wednesday at 8:30pm. Gonna email everyone at 8:15 to remind them.

ABNS probably needs an account sitter. Anyone know someone that likes to draft?

I struck out trying to get a proxy to draft for me. I've been woefully sleepless the last couple of weeks so I'm thinking I could do it, if there's a computer at my apartment. The phone would be a huge pain in the ass. If anyone knows a nerd who just lives drafting, though, I wouldn't mind having a backup option.

It actually said PAUSED. Didn't re-start.
