Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I really like how I could hear Prince yelling while holding on the runner and then hear the guy after the safe slide. They should mic all the players during the game.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Very enjoyable game. Wish it stayed a no-no just for the hellOfIt.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Decent AB from Boogers there, right up until the absolutely awful swing on the down-the-middle high hanger.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 The girls/ women who were wearing the grey caps with the red B were better looking than those wearing other colored caps. Especially if the brims were curved like they had been wearing them for a while.Just an observation. Later
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Ha. Drew sucks. Tonight. OOO, I like that glove.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Miggy barely swung at that pitch and got it over the Monster
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 That Cabrera guy. And another no-no going. I think tonight Scherzer gets it done. I expected some good pitching here and there this post, but this is crazy stuff.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 As noted in the booth, you're facing Verlander in game 3...need to get it done tonight Sox.Martinez brings Fielder home with a double...3-0
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Ovila very deep to right for a two run bomb....getting hit very hard and only someone up in the 'pen before that pitch....some questions for Farrell.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 T-Mac....down five runs takes away your running game....2-1 , 3-1 not so, but down 5 it does....why?
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 and with Victorino running a double brings him home from 1st base.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Really felt like Papi needed to come through in his AB......
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Sure looked like Miggi was pulling at his leg walking back to the dugout after his long out.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Boston better break out the hittin' sticks. Or are they just happy to have two hits. They gotta knock Scherzer outta there.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Jesus Christ, why would you take out Scherzer?, he's still bamboozling the Sox.

If Bostons gonna get back in this they gotta start putting hits together, knock him out, and get to the pen. They may not fare any better but they gotta get past him.Veras is warming up. Scherzer at 108 pitches. Looks like they will go to the pen. Could get interesting.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 WOW, 3rd pitcher since taking out the starter.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Revolving pitchers..ask Anibal Sanchez...An aspect of the modern game I really don't care for..
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Bases loaded for Papi....he will face Beniot.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 [bigpurple:3mzx0msc]HOLY SHIT![/bigpurple:3mzx0msc]
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Fucking hell....Papi with a home run....bedlam in Boston
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 ugh,WOW, what an effort by Hunter!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Huge error by Leyland. The Tigers carry three lefty relievers. Ortiz has a 360 point difference in his OPS when facing a lefty pitcher.
