This looks like the likely regular lineup going into the season, with E. Young getting some starts too (more or less, depending how C. Young and Lagares do). But instead of flip-flopping Davis and Granderson, how about they just sit Ike against LH pitching until he shows he can, you know, hit. The could play Satin; he hits LH better, even when Ike is going good. I'd even prefer to see Satin lead off -- certainly over C.Young (or Lagares); at least Josh gets on. And Gee hitting 8th only makes sense if the 9th hitter is somebody who gets on for the top of the order. I don't see the point of flipping him with Tejada unless our SS starts showing he can hit. In which case, he makes a better leadoff option than C.Young/Lagares, so you still wouldn't hit him 9th.

Terry will probably swap Davis And Curtis for the R/L/R thing.

Um... both hit left-handed, yes?

That's fair. it's Spring Training for bloggers too..

I think that's part of why Terry doesn't want to lead off with Chris Young. I also don't think he'll bat Lagares that high. but who knows. I'll take that lineup.

I like Murph and the Magictones a lot, but I like him a lot more batting sixth or seventh than second. Least until he commits to taking the occasional walk.

Doesn't sound like the most pleasant conditions to watch a game, but it doesn't seem that we need to worry about a rainout.

Not quite as nice as this March 31st opener: Start Time Weather: 82 F, Wind 9mph out to Leftfield, Sunny, No Precipitation.

The only problem with the weather that day was that I went to the game in shorts (I think it hit 86 at one point). But by the 14th inning things were starting to get a bit chilly and I was underdressed.

I like Brown. I didn't get the impression Terry really liked the guy, tho.

Side retired in the first.

How about Ramos? Hitting .390 career against the Mets and Matt Williams bets hard on that --- batting him cleanup and letting him sweing 3-0. I think we have hunch player in the rookie manager.

Gee is getting squeezed according to the espn gamecast, first pitxh to Ramos was a strike?

Swinging 3-0?? Thanks!
