Glorious, surprisingly sunny day at the park with the kid and a couple of nieces, with no lines at the 'Shack, a couple of sharp singles for YoungerPooper at the Wiffle Stadium, two Apple appearances (big hits with the kinder), and helmet sundaes for all.

And my Adopted Kid was nice enough to provide some cooling breeze! (After we explained that it was his debut, my older niece felt increasingly, visibly terrible for the Dekker with each at bat, practically writhing in her chair by the last one.)
