Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 So what's this about Miami Manatees?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 quick turnaround, perhaps Buck is leaving for paternity after the game and Centeno is going to NY or going with the team to NY?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Whatever, just be sure to credit 62.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Turner in for Murph rather than Q surprises me.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 "What's a Seawolf? I'm a Seawolf."Rooting for eight scoreless for Koehler, then a twelve-run ninth inning off the Marlins' bullpen.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 We're now talking about how Ike is fouling off pitches he would have missed in the beginning of the season in the booth. It's sad ... swing and miss, two men left on.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Single, walk, HBP loads bases with 2 out for Ike.PS -- Eff this Stony Brook guy.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 .[bigpurple:hrivx5qv]Ike'd it![/bigpurple:hrivx5qv]
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Fouls out to 3B.Eff Ike Davis.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 He's left 5 men on through three .. could be a longggg day.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Ike had one good week in the minors and was recalled to the Mets. He's pretty much what he was before being sent down, with a few more walks. Tejada and JV are hitting in the minors but you don't see them recalled. The Mets should have left Satin in the lineup (remember how hot he was?) and told Ike that he needed to perform well for a month.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Lagares triples with 1 out.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 oo, Laggys got balls. Turns a double into a triple. I thought he was gonna be a dead duck.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 He wobbled around second like a duck ... stranded.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Kong76 wrote:He wobbled around second like a duck ... stranded.Damn. Q rips one that finds a glove (almost a DP @3rd) and Matt lifts a fly out to left.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Squinty's defense going down the tubes as well.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 If Qs gonna do shit like that he's become useless.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Tyrna walks, on base for the 3rd time, Wright singles, 2 on 1 out for Byrd. Ike on deck.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Unfuckingbelieveable doubleplay.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 UGH! Great diving catch in center gets Wright doubled off.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 5 walks, 5 hits off this poorly educated Miami pitcher but we've hardly mounted a threat.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 It must drive Harvey crazy that he has to throw a shutout to get a chance at a W.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 For the sake of my own sanity I need to see the Marlins strand runners on the corners with no out.Theres one out
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 i imagine that to an extent he thrives upon it.
