G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hello Marlins, our old friends. Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I have a real problem with Ike Davis.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Brown Satin Buck Turner is your bench. It's also a coveted item discounted to $279 in the hunting section at Dick's Sporting Goods.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 The key is to stop Yelich and Stanton...And Hefner to stop throwng Meatballs. It can be done.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Donovan Solano, one of three big leaguers from Columbia, the others being his brother, Jhonathan Solano, as well as Julio Teheran.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 If we could have gotten that call at 1B for EY (and/or the bunt down from Hefner) there's no telling how big that inning could have gone.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 And now there have been two calls that haven't gone our way.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 This one looks good so far. I won't accept anything less than a four game sweep here. As a matter of fact what we need is a ten game winning streak. Starts now.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 yup, 2-run error. and Mets still can't hit.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I'd swap out Ike for Tejada immediately, go with Brown/Turner/Recker at 1B until they figure out how to get Dykstra here or Duda back.

Hef has that shitty uneven inning, gets the DP grounder, Q, who is usually steady, boots it. Could have gotten out of it at 3-1. Instead its 3-3. These guys are driving me crazy. It could not have been an easier DP!Grrr.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 See, this kind of baseball here. Come on. Both advance on the misplay. Grrrrrr.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Just hand them the fucking game and get it over with.- can't get bunts down- can't close out innings- let runners run wild- 5 walks allowed plus a HBP (many with 2 strikes)- 100 pitches before the 6th inning- 5 runs allowed on only 4 hits
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hefner was clearly done way before he got the hook. Rare this season, but Collins has to take some of the blame for this loss.

But I guess with the extra day of rest Terry figures they can go longer in the game? But you do that when guys are cruising not push them to the fatigue point in pressure spots. I feel like that's where guys get hurt.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Nice. Young doubles, Murph drives him in.4-5
