Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Ha! Zimmerman sucks. He sucked earlier but I let him slide.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Thank you LaRoche. He fields a bunt by Harvey I'm pretty damn sure was gonna go foul, and Browns in scoring position. 1 out. Lagares.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Lagares going for the fences now that he got the gig? He hit another to deep center. Don't be changing to try and please us Laggy. Just do what you do, and do it well.Wright strands two with a foul out to end the Mets 7th.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Man, those double plays can really take the air out the ballpark.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Q tells Murph "Ill make the throw myself, tyvm" and Matt gets a nice DP.Harvey at 84 pitches. O'dorf 114.Stammen up in the Nats pen.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Clippard is one of these relievers that really slams the brakes on a game pacing-wise; lots of pitches and lots of time between each.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Ha! Zimmerman unsucks! Thats a first. Off Scorer takes back one of his errors.

No use using CBSsportline game tracker for facts I guess.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Matt takes the mound in the 8th. Keep everything in order Mattman. And then SCORE SOME RUNS METS!Make believe he's Wheeler or something. Get Harvey a win!If Harvey shits the bed this half this message will self destruct.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 That is probably it for Harvey. Due to bat this inning. 99 pitches. If we are going to score some more runs lets start now.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Brown joins the double club! And that was close. DO IT IKE!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Ike walks, Lagares pops out foul to 1st. Damn. Well, couldnt ask for more than having Murphy up here. 2 out, two on.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I can't read updates in this thread, because I'm a good 3-4 minutes behind the actual game play on the XM broadcast, but I will say, Josh and Howie are great broadcasters. I don't get to see it happening but it's a nice change of pace to let them paint the picture.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 And once again the outs come in the wrong order. Flip the pop-out and the fly=out and we're in the lead here.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Murphy flies out to center. Gah. Did Gary say that this would be Matts 11th no decision? Did I hear that right?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 We have lost far too many games via walk-offs this year.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Felt like every Harvey start there. As much as Hawkins, blame the offense for this one. They shot their load earlier today and forgot to show up tonight.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Its games like this that make me wonder why I take the Mets serious. You get a pitching performance like that in the second game of a big double header against a division rival and you can't support the pitcher with runs. They have been scoring more lately, but obviously, not enough. This one knocked a bit of wind out of my sails.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Nats manage split despite being outscored 12-2.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Nats manage split despite being outscored 12-2.I think we might all need one of these:Cause shit like this is gonna drive us crazy.
