bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) I will be there with my younger son and we are sitting in section 116. After our 0 and 6 record in 2012, we'd like to see a win already. And it would mean two series victories this season for the Mets over the locals (for me) which means bragging rights with my Nationals colleagues, including this guy:https://vine.co/v/b3PUPuIeTgi Edited June 6, 2013 by Guest
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I'd love to hear the story of why you named your son "Section 113".
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I'm pretty disappointed that there is only one non-weekend day game in June.I woke up today thinking today was one until I looked at the schedule.

He has all of one career inning (no chances) logged there from a game back in May. His handful of minor league appearances in the outfield came way back in rookie ball in 2006.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I don't think the odds of getting this one in are very good.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Then I would have penciled Davis in as the pitcher. No, wait, fuck it... I would have penciled Ankiel in as the pitcher.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Seriously, wouldn't that be great? Nothing would come of it, but for two or three hours, all of baseball would be going nuts. "Did they... fix Rick Ankiel? After all these years? It seems... impossible, and yet... there he is, penciled into the lineup as the starting pitcher. If this works, we're doomed. DOOMED!"
