Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I count all four too Cooby. The two and two thing didn't really do it for me.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 The first time the Mets swept the MFYs in a season series!

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Don 't get too excited yet.Let's see what they can do now that they're past the easy part of their schedule. (insert winkie thingie hre)Hey, I just realized Jeff Wilpon was right. We haven't seen Mariano again after Tuesday.Later
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Of course, now watch them get swept by the Marlins. It would be a very Metsian thing to do.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I bought the Daily News(America's paper) today for the first time in yonks......as an aside, during the series I would flip to YES during key moments, big strikeouts etc. the booth was effusive in it's praise for the Mets, especially the young pitching, while also pointing out the glaring holes in the MFY team.....
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 The Yankees are the only team that the Mets have defeated four times this year:
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Mets have perfect regular-season lifetime record against MFYs on Mondays (2-0) and Thursdays (1-0). Also Friday day games (1-0).
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Is it a coincidence that the Mets record versus the Yankees resembles a huge erection?I think not.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 A huge blue erection, which is the best kind!
