metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Gary, Keith and Kevin showing support for Jason Collins. Things we have learned from Kevin. Robert Carson's uncle is gay, Ike Davis has a sister that is lesbian.

It's important he gets other players behind him. No pun intended there. Edited April 29, 2013 by Guest
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 This game is like one of those Snickers commercials .... Not going anywhere for a while?5 innings in just under 2 hours. I keep looking for the Yanx & Sawx
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 When even douchey jockos like Nick Swisher are putting support out there, maybe things really are changing. And on another note, I'm doing a bit of research for the Braves KTE and I see that the Mets only have three sacrifice bunts this year. No other NL team has less than six, and four have fifteen or more. Oh, and the Braves have yet to hit a triple. Amazing.

Even when I watched him play as a kid in the 70s. It didn't matter to me then, it don't now. I loved him. Not carnally, mind you, but as a player I loved him.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Shit. Harvey almost got thru 6. You could see he was gassed. Great job considering he was off. Thats BIG to me.I hate to post this, but I make em to use em.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Carson & Atchison do their jobs but now with the #9 spot coming up we're going to be in a situation where we'll use four pitchers to get four consecutive batters.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Valdy gets the old seven-foot single.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Byrd about a half day behind that fastball for strike three.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Meanwhile, we can't touch their just-called-up reliever through three straight innings.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 OMG these strikeouts in big spots. And little spots.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Heads up D there by Turner and Tejada to get the runner.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Not sure I've seen a 5-6 play like that before, but I'll take it.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Wow. that could have gone real bad. Heads up by Tejeda. Turner did what he should have, threw it towards the bag. Good play.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Real effective pen work so far.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Turner with the well struck double. Let's get an insurance run, OK?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Well, if we aren't gonna hit, we need two more gooseggs from the pen.Wasnt prayin for the double but He works in mysterious ways.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Sorry, Gary, some schlub reliever for the Marlins can never be the pride of Lubbock, Texas.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Dagnabbit. Murph hits Duda's grounder and Duda hits Murphy's fly ball and it's 3-1.C'mon Buckaroo.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 That rocking motion that Ramos does is weird. Does he ever officially come to a stop?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I guess the whole pen is thirsty tonight. GJ Lyons.
