Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Duda, your bat on the ball, hit anywhere, would have been big.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Buck Ks too. Second and third, 1 out. Opportunity squandered in the first.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Harvey makes a fool of Stanton there. Niiiiiice.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Great analysis of Davis's swing problems by Mex. He should do more of those breakdowns like that. Some people do those and youre all, yea, whatever. But Keith makes all great points. When he does it I listen.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Marlns broadcaster on Harvey: "I've been doing some reading and a lot of scouts describe his slider as Carlton-esque."I'm saying boo... but who compares a righthander to a lefthander, especially with regard to breaking pitches?"I've been talking to the Mets management about Harvey and what they speak about isn't what kind of pitcher he is, but what kind of person he is. Hard worker. Great teammate... ."Wow! Nobody used the word "douchey"?Seriously, though, he's struck out three of the last four and almost looks bored out there.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Harvey not on his game so far tonight, but still holds em scoreless. I want to enjoy these types of games as much as when he's on, so get to scoring Mets.He looks distracted or something tonight. Not as intense.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 It's sometimes hard to stay focused in a mausoleum of a stadium.Fun at-bat against Fernandez, though.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 "Jose Fernandez escaped Cuba amid a hail of gunfire. It was his fourth attempt. He saved his mother who fell into the ocean."How much of that are you wont to believe?

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Buck deposits one into the big Pachinko machine in left-center. 2-1 Mets.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I love what Bucks been doing but I do expect a big fall off at some point. Wouldn't it be amazin if he kept it up? Even after his start 20+ would make me happy.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Matt, please don't be one a those give it right back guys.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 90 pitches through four innings, looks like several of Harvey's friends will be joining him on the mound shortly.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Lead off double and then he Ks two in a row (huge), walks one, regroups after a mound visit and gets out of it with a K of Fernandez. GJ Matt!

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Fernandez batted for himself and yet is outta the game for the top of the 5th. Hmmm.
