Its snowing there now. A lot. On the post game radio show, Wayne said their flight may be detoured, and they have no idea to where.

By Wayne you mean Josh. I was wondering what happened to Wayne Hagin the other day. He apparently was up for the radio gig for the Astros this year but didn't get it. That'd be 2 years without a job.

Perhaps the games could be moved to the Metrodome.

Not that it's immune to snow.

I've lived my entire life in the North country where going to your kids sporting events pretty much suck any time of the year (other than July/August when the kids don't have many sports events)...but you deal with it because it's your kids and it's free...

so I have to wonder what kind of morons decided that Minnesota didn't need at least a retractable roof...it makes no sense that both Florida teams either have a dome or a retractable roof; yet Minnesota fans have to freeze their asses off to pay good money to watch a baseball game...

Meh, they're just flurries. I've played baseball in knee deep snow. That's nothing.

I guess that shot was from earlier. Looks fine there. And cold, of course.

Valdesac has like two flashy hand pump things and THEN the claw.lol. And bad baserunning there. But 2 fer 2.

And the captain delivers him home.

May wife and I were thinking of attending this game a few months ago. For many reasons, we didn't end up going.

I'm OK with watching it from home.

See, this is what Ike should be doing every at-bat, with the spoiling and fouling.

I'll hand this to Worley --- he's out there in short sleeves.

Minnie announcers are lamenting his inability to finish anybody off. That with two strikes, he just gives up foul balls until the batter gets one to drive or gets ball four. Then he said it was the same with Pelfrey.

Yes it was.

Agreed. I'm not sure I've seen Buck look more uncomfortable at the plate in his short tenure with us.

OE: I mean, he must have hyperextended himself on the follow-through.
