sorry, i've fallen off hte wagon of late. getting slammed at work makes it hard to catch up. don't these people have priorities?!

Assuming Wright, Byrd and Harvey are/were (I'm guessing) the leading candidates for PotY, yet two are done getting votes and one may not come back except for token appearances. If Gee or Murphy has a huge September, perhaps they can swoop in. They, Hawkins and Rice are the only Mets to have lasted every day since Opening Day on the 25-man roster.

There are only four votes so far for the 11th, and a pathetic three votes so far for the 12th. Surprisingly, the game with the most votes is the one that the Mets lost 9-0.

And... I'll make the official announcement tomorrow, but the games played against the Marlins will close on Wednesday afternoon. If you decide to catch up on the Nationals games, you might as well do the Miami games while you're at it.

Voting for all three games played against the Giants last week will close on Tuesday some time after 2 p.m. All of the games are light on votes at the moment, especially the first two.

I'll post an official announcement tomorrow, but you can also look for the weekend games against the Phillies to close on Wednesday afternoon.
