What it looked like is that he didn't think he was going to need to slide at all. Then, after he realized that he should, he did so late and awkwardly.

Its just an ankle strain? That's good news. Thought he broke it. Real head up your ass kinda slide. He had the base stole easy, wasn't gonna slide, looked back in the catchers direction for a few strides, then thought to slide way late. Only himself to blame. Sucks. Glad it's something he can come back from.

I remember Moxy Fr�vous. God, they were annoying. I saw them in 1992, opening for Bob Dylan. Aren't we cute? Aren't we witty? Don't you just love us? And then Bob's mike was turned off the entire show, and no one seemed to care. Not one of my better concert experiences.

I listen to Ghomeshi's CBC show nearly everyday. It's on our local NPR at 5pm. He usually has very good stuff.
