Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 But we're not trying to have the minimum number of IL games because IL games are, by their very existence, far superior to all other games.Or so I've heard.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 The Phillies aren't opening with interleague play. Their first games are on the road at Atlanta. Their home opener is against the Royals. My understanding is that the interleague games will be minimized in April and August/September. As you can see from that Phillies schedule, they have no interleague games in August or September.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I misquoted myself in my post about the Reds. I have fixed. Thanks Gwreck.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Adam Rubin said that the Mets will open next season at home against the Padres (last time that happened, the leadoff batter hit a homerun).
