Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I didn't see an IGT started, so I figured my recent activities in Philadelphia might bring us some luck. I brought the Alternate Victory Flag with me on my morning runs through downtown and eluded the National Park Service long enough snap some defiant Mets photos with Philly landmarks.Tonight, Jermey Hefner goes up against Joe Blanton.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Rain comin'. How does Hefner do when it rains?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Let Ramirez start the game and put in Hefner after the rain delay.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Double, sacrifice, wild pitch - before you can blink it's 1-0 Phillies.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 it's alright, the Mets double that with help from the Phillies loltastic defense.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Hefner isn't getting any beer from me tonight.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Mike Baxter - a double a day keeps the Bisons away.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 So who forgot the scouting report on Brian F. Schneider?!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) And you KNOW he's got the thing linked, too. What material?(Also: the front end of the rain band is in a diagonal line between West Milford and Edison and just west of Trenton in central-western Jersey; go, game, go!) Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 He was observin' Quintanilla and referencing exactly how many players have worn that number, how it's the most issued number, who first wore it, blahblahblah. Reference your sources!

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 That is one gawky-looking great play by Pence on the Nickeas drive to the bullpen area in right-center. But then, ANYTHING involving Pence kinda feels... prepubescent, doesn't it?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Now THAT was a bombshell.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 What's more embarrassing than giving up a dingdong to Schneider? How about giving up one to Hefner?[bigpurple:2b53ja2p]Kaboom![/bigpurple:2b53ja2p]Seriously, Daniel Murphy... get one in the homer column.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) NOW we starting walking to field positions and such.OE: I think I watched a little too much "Hatfields and McCoys" last night. Edited May 29, 2012 by Guest

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 No sweat. Why don't you Phillies take a rest on daddy's lap?
