Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Reserve catcher or No. 1 in Buffalo? Or reserve in Buffalo?Bonus: Excluding Mike Nickeas' bride (center) predict the 2012 season for Curly, Blondy, Squinty, Pearly & Blacky
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I think he'll be on the big club for the majority of the season, but that Thole will get a large majority of the starts.52 G, .210/.257/.282/.539, 2 HR, 15 RBI
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 He'll be the major league backup. He'll "hit" just enough to justify his defensive role and backup nature. Thole will get a lot of games.30 starts, .240/.302/.350 20 doubles, 4 HR. 25 RBIAs for the bridesmaids, left to right: Herpes, Twins, A diamond ring, Syphilis, 3 cats, Herpes
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Starter at Buffalo.Cuppa' joe with the Mets: 23G, .222 in under 75 AB.Curly, Blondy, Squinty, Pearly and Blacky will all have their hearts broken by me. No matter how much they beg, I will stay with my beautiful wife.Later
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Herpes, Twins, A diamond ring, Syphilis, 3 cats, Herpes. In a more just world, this would be a projection of the last six seasons for Derek Jeter.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Actually, it would be a review of the last six.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 211/290/322 in 100 PACurly: Promoted at work (again), staying in shape, nice condo in the city, desperately lonely and empty inside.Blondy: Nods in knowing recognition when 'Good Christian Bitches' comes on. Squinty: Has a kid and turns her shoe-shopping and fashion blog into a child-rearing blog.Pearly: All about scrapbooking and couponing. while her husband spends weekends hunting, fishing and attending NASCAR events.Blacky: Auditioning for role of 'Icestorm' on new season of American Gladiators
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I haven't quite figured out how scrapbooking emerged as a lifestyle choice.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Oh what the hell, I'll bet Lucas May beats Nickeas out and we don't see all that much of him.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Ron Hodges. That's all I got.

Nickeas better be the greatest defensive catcher in baseball because that's all he can offer. May is hitting and if he keeps hitting, he'll make the team instead of Nickeas.

It's Spring Training.

The threat to Nickeas is Johnson probably, maybe May fights it out with Rottino/Turner/Hairston, et al for a reserve RH bat.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Black bridesmaid dresses, how Goth. I predict that they spend a lot of time sleeping with men that disgust them while listening to Nick Cave albums.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Really? Where do I score some of that action?
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 didn't i write a play about those girls a while back?and Nickeas? well, nobody is going to write a play about him, that's for sure. I think he'll start the season as Thole's caddy, and get released at some point, after going 0-20.

They are creaming themselves in the aisle during the checkout process. It'd be easier if they just bought dildos. Using coupons.

Guest vtmet Guests Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I'm hoping that Hudgens can make Nickeas into at least a major league backup catcher's worth of an offensive player...and I'm hoping to see if this small sample size has any validity when given a bigger sample size: Mike NickeasTeam Record in Starts: 10-5 http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.cgi?id=nickemi01&t=b&year=2011
