I'm encouraged by Santana's performance. With him, the top speed isn't as important as the difference in speeds between his fastball and his changeup. And, as we have heard since infancy (in fact it was one of the nursery rhymes sung to me as a child), lefties have more movement on their pitches than righties. Didn't do any good, however. I was a righty.
