Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 This thread needs to be bumped because it is one of the greatest things ever.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 These are classic funny! I'll try and whip one up.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 These photos need captions. Otherwise, I'm not buying why Jeff Wilpon would be at Socrates' death, or at high level WWII negotiations.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 In each of these pictures, I see him as a clueless interloper.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 This could effect the timeline. Dr.Who fans will know where that impossible astronaut came from. Probably would have been better if I used Shea as a backdrop and had him reaching out to give Shea the "touch of death".

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Excellent DJ! Perfectly blurred to match. The Second Spitter wrote:This would have been a million times better if it was an Apollo mission pic, especially this one or even this one.Oh, I see what your sayin. The image wasn't very "historical". The ones you linked would put it more in that context. That's true and sorry bout that. Went for the funny.I had this wallpaper I created a few years ago for Dr. Who. Looking around for images to use for this I found a layered (.psp) save of the Who/River Song wallpaper. Thought it would be funny to just slide Freds head in there and slap on a new backround. So 95% of the work that went into the astronaut image was done long ago. Yea, kinda like cheating.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Hilarious Zvon...took me a minute to find Jeffy in the Beatles one.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 This is great stuff....I am surprised this doesn't have a Facebook page already.

Maybe I'll "share" that album from the UMDB Facebook page. That may get about 2,000 or more eyes on it. (Something like 2200 people saw the photo I posted of David Wright in a Cap'n Crunch hat.)

Just make sure you give 'em the Crane Pool address with that so the Facebook page isn't the end of the line for those eyes.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Definitely. Before I do that, we should probably make sure the album is up to date.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 The album should have everything in this thread.I also created an album of Oscar Madison shots and another of Ed Koch shots if you want to send any further promos out. Thanks a lot for sharing your audience.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'll go baaaaaaaaaaaaaack in history.
