Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Sign up for fangraphs, then go to ottonue fantasy and search for the league
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 that was only a smidge obtuse. in.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Maybe I'm just intoxicated but hell. I've dated women less complicated than this draft/league.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I changed my team name. I wasn't prepared to name the team when registering and so looked at the beer I was having and wrote "complex ale" right off the label.Team is now the Greenpoint Lunchladies. We will serve you a platter of nutritious asskick.

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 i keep reading that as greenpoint lunchlad[u:3qa5yrut]L[/u:3qa5yrut]es, and giggle at the absurdity.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 mind if i invite a buddy of mine into the league? this is right up his alley, and it seems like we might need the help getting a decent number of teams. he's a cards fan, but we shouldn't hold it against him too much.

Should have plenty of room I imagine, although I haven't looked closely at how many we have since I'm on Vacation.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I have a friend who might also wanna do this too, I will ask after I get back from vacay if we still need bruthas
Guest attgig Guests Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 when are you guys drafting? I may be in depending on your schedule. I just got too much going on in my life and a draft coming up this week.

I'm fond of a weekday night personally, less likely to have major offline-engagements. 7ish? 8ish?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Please make it no earlier than 7:30 on a weeknight. On a weekend, I could go later.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 before 7:30 is tough. also the first week of march is out. i'll have a better handle on the remainder of my coming schedule once my volleyball playoff schedule is out, but those games fall midweek, tues/wed/thurs
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 we getting any more teams?scheduling wise, i can basically do any night after the first week of march, except the 14th, 20th and 21st. the first week of march, i'm a single parent. the other three days are for volleyball playoffs.

Were there others of you that are joining that haven't yet? Also if someone wants to get a feel for the draft, I sorta accidentally claimed a team in another league that has a couple of players already, but I probably can't make their draft so if someone wanted to get a feel for it, and do me a favor..
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 i do have some other people i could try to drag into this thing. 8 seems too few. i feel like we should have 10-12 minimum. also the more we have the less likely this'll just be a one time flash in the pan sort of thing.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 think max is 12 anyway, although I fail to see why it can't go to 30 other than no one really wants to have to draft Willie Harris. There were more than 6 of us here that wanted in right? *pokes around* hey you! Let's give them a couple more days/this week to sign up, then we'll fill out the league with outsiders (And maybe convert them to insiders?)Do we want to target a draft day one night during the week of March 12-16th? say..the 15th at 8pm? or how about this: http://www.doodle.com/xp637kg2xn65mnn3 I blocked off the two workweeks in mid-march, maybe we can find a time we're all free?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 the doodle thing was a good idea. i filled out my availability. i'm in if its one of those days, and you can find a replacement if its not
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I'm good almost any night.Asked a friend to sign up, sounds like he will.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 8:30 start a problem for anyone else?Do we want to put a end/postpone time on it if we're not done, or push through until we have ~30 players?Mon 3/12 and Thursday 3/22 so far are the days we're all free (though someone still missing)
