Hopefully, he's busy hunting down the still-at-large [crossout:nyyh6twc]un[/crossout:nyyh6twc]wanted asshole who kidnapped his mother.

Kazmir could be a good fit,I imagine his first start would generate excitement. Mets need starting pitching, right now who are the backup guys if someone goes down or isn't ready for opening day?

Theme wet blankets were planning on going with:

They didn't even bother scouting or considering making an offer to Scott Kazmir. This reflects how cheap this organization has become along with how embarrassed they still remain over the deal that sent Kazmir to Tampa Bay for Victor Zambrano in 2004.

That Gee hair kinda makes sense for me, since I kinda wish he were with the Phillies.

This is quite a "hairy" bunch. Not sure I approve.

See, this one's kind of funny. STUPID funny, but funny.

(And for my money? The hats beat the living poo out of the black-ear-panel nonsense.)

Updated, but reminds me of when Paul Richards developed an oversized mitt for catching Hoyt Wilhelm.

I dreamed last night that the Mets had given the first base job to a giant piece of lasagna. I was considering whether to draft it in my fantasy league. Baseball Prospectus wasn't too high on it, but with the fences coming in at Citi, it should be good for fifteen or twenty homers.

Well, if they're not a good baseball team, they can try to sell tickets by impersonating a circus.

Edited for grammar. How embarrassing!

Or Byrdak can come charging out of the bullpen, body slam Roy Halladay and tag in Francisco to pitch.
