Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Is Victor Zambrano staging a workout anywhere?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Hopefully, he's busy hunting down the still-at-large [crossout:nyyh6twc]un[/crossout:nyyh6twc]wanted asshole who kidnapped his mother.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Kazmir could be a good fit,I imagine his first start would generate excitement. Mets need starting pitching, right now who are the backup guys if someone goes down or isn't ready for opening day?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Theme wet blankets were planning on going with:They didn't even bother scouting or considering making an offer to Scott Kazmir. This reflects how cheap this organization has become along with how embarrassed they still remain over the deal that sent Kazmir to Tampa Bay for Victor Zambrano in 2004.Theme wet blankets are scrubbing off as a backup plan:Why would they even bother scouting or considering making an offer to Scott Kazmir? Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 That Gee hair kinda makes sense for me, since I kinda wish he were with the Phillies.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 What is this? A team of Brian Wilsons?

dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I dreamed last night that the Mets had given the first base job to a giant piece of lasagna. I was considering whether to draft it in my fantasy league. Baseball Prospectus wasn't too high on it, but with the fences coming in at Citi, it should be good for fifteen or twenty homers.
