G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Pat Misch joins Wilson Valdez, Brian Schneider, Raul Valdes and Ty Wigginton in Philadelphia for the largest aggregation of Mets from lousy Mets teams since the 2011 Mets shook hands and parted ways for the winter.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 Phillies' moves bring to mind the composition of the 1981 Blue Jays' staff. Not one, not two, but SIX recently washed out Mets! Given how convinced I was that every last one of them was going to be great when they were Mets, it's hard to believe the Jays' composite record in that strike-sundered season was a mere 37-69.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Toddler Ted will be bummed. Misch was her favorite Met.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 There's only one recent Met I care to not see in Philly next year, and it sure the hell ain't Pat Misch, his Mischiness notwithstanding.
