Phillies' moves bring to mind the composition of the 1981 Blue Jays' staff. Not one, not two, but SIX recently washed out Mets! Given how convinced I was that every last one of them was going to be great when they were Mets, it's hard to believe the Jays' composite record in that strike-sundered season was a mere 37-69.
