Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Saw that on the broadcast the other day. They for some reason moved away almost immediately after that one moment on camera.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 No it almost looked as though they willingly stopped playing around and moved out of the shot. When does that happen at a sporting contest?

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Probably embarrassed to be seen at a Mets game.....talking to bananas.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I wonder... did they bring the bananas into the ballpark? Or buy them at a Citi Field concession stand for eight bucks each?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I think what happened was that the guy was skipping work and his kid skipping school. Then, when the wife/mother saw that they were on camera, she called them on their banana phones to tell them to get out of the shot so they wouldn't get caught.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2011 Author Posted September 17, 2011 It's too bad the season's almost over, because "Sitting Behind Kevin Burkhardt Talking On A Banana" would be a funny regular thing.
