13 games to go until the All-Star Break, 10 on the road with 3 at home against the other team in NY:

3 @ Detroit
3 vs. MFY
4 @ LA
3 @ SF.

Predict the Mets record in these 13 games.

I'll start: 8 and 5.

MFY series is at Citi, but i'll second your 8-5.

Let's see now:
- we're going to face a team who plays in a city that's financially bankrupt,
- and then to facing a team that's morally bankrupt,
- from there we go to a city where the team has just filed for bankruptcy protection,
- and finally wind up going against a club who has a completely bankrupt offense.

Suddenly we look like the solvent ones. 13-0

6-7. The Magic .500 mark must not be broken.

Those 3 games at Citi will essentially be road games as the crowd will be full of Yankme fans. I'm just glad Captain Crankycalf won't be there to pursue his Vision Quest.

Fixed the locale of the MFY games. Too many MFY fans at "our" place. Like party-crashers or unwanted relatives.

Why do people think Citi will be over run with yankee twats?, did they all buy tickets in anticipation of whatshisname reaching a personnel milestone?

There are always a decent amount there. tickets are cheaper, it's a nicer place, easier to get to, and park at, for drivers.

But like all these games, whoevers winning will have the most/loudest fans.

In full agreeance. Record-wise, too-- 6-7.

I'll go with the 6-7 crowd too, though I'll hope for better.

I predict we'll be 5-5 in our next 10 before losing the series to the Gints before the break.

8-5 seems like a reasonable prediction.

2-1 against the Tigers (lose the Verlander game)
2-1 against the MFYs
3-1 against the Dodgers (lose the Kershaw game)
1-2 against the Giants.

I'll be the pessimist. 5-8

I'm thinking 9-4, and we for some reason seem to do OK against Verlander when facing him in the past, through he is a stud this year for sure.

13-0

Hell, 14-0.

1-0 over and over and over.

(I'm too skittish to think in larger segments.)

Even before you get to the results, the next few weeks are going to kind of suck baseball-wise.

Off-day today -- Ugh
More uninteresting, un-asked-for, and un-needed inter-league play -- Ugh-Ugh
MFYs Series -- Triple Ugh
Week-plus of late-night games from the west coast -- Yawn
[u:ml8jtkb8]Four-Day[/u:ml8jtkb8] AS break -- Arrrrrgh!

3 vs. MFY--1
4 @ LA--3
3 @ SF--1.

metirish was the only one to call it.
