Guest cooby Guests Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 In January 2008, the Mets acquired Johan Santana from the Twins. What four players did the Mets give up in exchange?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Delois Guerra, Phil Humber, Carlos Gomez, and Kevin Mulvey!

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I can't believe we gave up Mulvey.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Yeah, remember how upset Valadius was about the deal because of Mulvey?
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I liked his numbers in the minors. What?
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I guess I'm the only one who isn't thrilled about the deal. I have a horrible feeling about this. The only consolation is that we kept Fernando Martinez. I could care less about Humber, but I'm furious that we traded Mulvey.http://archives.cranepoolforum.net/8100/f1_t8182.shtml
