I guess there was "a touching incident" [insert joke here] during the argument cuz you don't normally get suspensions for simple ejections.

The rule is very specific about (1) the batter having to get out of the way, and (2) the uniform counting as part of the batter's person. I don't think this is an issue or a matter of interpretation of the rules.[/quote:3sjdn7ct]

It was like somebody flipped the switch from "off" to "on" tonight.
Citi Field was surprisingly full but mostly quiet which was kind of strange. Lots of Cardinal fans in attendance, many of whom who I ran in to seemed to be doing the House of Evil (this past weekend) - Citi doubleheader.
Very happy to stick it to Wainwright.
