ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 The midseason showdown is upon us.LETS!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Division-race implications aside, I'm not terribly eager to witness a Hanson-Dickey episode. When I was younger, and more open to strange, new things... maybe. Or maybe if both were on our team, it would be easier and less awkward to derive enjoyment from such a setup. But now, now I could kind of do without watching a somebody else's Hanson-our Dickey kinda thing. That could be sort of painful... damaging, even. Oh, and

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 This thread would be a crime if only because it started on your own losing streak. We need a merge!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Merge away and we'll pretend that this thread didn't happen.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Whew, we saved the season. Now we need to collaborate on a KTE.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I wonder if that's because it gives him the option to bunt as often as possible instead of either swinging lefty or looking bad righty-on-righty

Pagan's batting and on-basing higher than Reyes. What's 3BG? A typo? Or something I'm not gettting? I hope it's something good.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Reyes batting righty vs. a righty is a waste of a lineup spot. Better it be the second spot than the leadoff spot.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Jose Reyes last started a game in the second position in the batting order on June 22, 2005 at Philadelphia. (via Twitter)

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I would love to see Reyes have a great game and stick in that two-hole the rest of the year, I tell you what.
