Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Too early to break out "The Mets control their own destiny" line?Guess so, since there hasn't been a time they haven't controlled it yet, but hey, why not.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Ollie Time will have to wait a day: rained out tonight. Single admission DH tomorrow starting at 4. (That means 3 games in 24 hours.)
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I'd just gotten off the 7 in time for the announcement. Doh.

Tweeted invites from the team itself to move down to field level on a drizzly night?I half-expect to wake up tomorrow to find David Howard in my living room bearing fresh banana muffins, to announce in person that they're bringing Banner Day back, that they'll be offering partial ticket plans next year as at Shea, and that my poodle Danielle never died.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Single admission doubleheaders are not fan-friendly for those holding tickets to the canceled game. Note that the Mets used to offer a refund if a game was postponed and rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader, but no longer. So instead of being able to just get my $$ back for my tickets tonight, I am forced to pick and choose through the remaining "bronze" games this season, and even then am not guaranteed to have a seat of comparable quality to exchange the ticket for.
