A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Super-impressed w/ the MLB app. Tiny as hell, but it looks awesome. I'm rockin 5 bars on the 3G network, so imagine that helps it from being real pixelated.Maine sort of all over the damn place. Hopefully will sneak out of this w/ only 1 run and then settle it down.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 WOW, Maine looks like he hasn't got much in that arm.....no fastball yet anyway.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 3 bags for Cora, sac fly Castillo, & bingo-bango, we're even.
apmorris Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Hey guys, whats new?Jacobs cleanup?
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Maine's scrotum has the viscosity of silly putty as he stamps images of Marlins comics onto his balls
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 There's our #2 pitcher. Thanks Omar!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Maine ain't doing so hot.[/quote:1lopah72]Tough to work at 88 without a hook
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 First coupla runs weren't scored on anything hit hard. Let'skeep some perspective with 160 to play after today.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I know, I hear thanks Omar and I just roll my eyes.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Omar did nothing to improve the starters. Maine shouldn't be the #2. He's a #4 at best right now.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I should say, I think the slant with this rotation early on (as talkedabout in the pre-game) is it's more a L-R-L-R thing and Maine isn'treally Omar's #2 ... it's too early in the season to hate.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Oh look, the Jenrrrrry ERa has begun.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 And they're teeing off on him.

They really needed a good SP and didn't get one.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Yeah, whatever. This would have been a good moment for Mike Jacobs to get off the Schneid.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I don't know why, but the new graphic for Kevin Burhardt's reports, "KEVIN BURKHARDT REPORTS" and then the subject, makes me laugh.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Speaking of SP that they didn't get, Jason Marquis gave up 6 earned in 4+ tonight, including a shot by Ryan Howard that knocked the landing gear off of a passing plane.
Guest attgig Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 1 inning to show omar/jerry's stupidity.mejia promptly gives up hits to the #7&8 hitters, and somehow gets away with only one run. and jacobs continues his hot night with a popup. 2ks and a popup. great cleanup hitter....great roster decisions on the # 24/25 guys on the roster...
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 great roster decisions on the # 24/25 guys on the roster...[/quote:34pkzp0r] Don't forget Green, too. None of the 3 have distinguished themselves tonight.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I feel some (probably unnecessary) sarcasm coming on so I think I'll go watch in the other room and turn off the laptop ...
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Come in off the ledge, fellas. It's game #2.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Damn, thought that ball was gonna sneak over Maybin's head.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 tatis singles to put 2 on with 2 out...but its Cora coming up, lack of Reyes hurts here
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Love Castillo. Let's do this Wright.
